Emergencies

Fellow residents, the Board of Directors is making every effort to making sure we are prepared for future
emergency events. However, the Board is just 5 people and we need your help.

You have seen three Board members in the past working for the benefit of the community after major
storms and hurricanes. We are NOT paid and receive no additional benefit other than making sure we do
not have special assessments or increased fees.

We are asking for people to volunteer and be part of the clean up so that we do not have to pay inflated
prices for clean up and so we can begin to work as community. If you are interested in helping out please
go to the contact section and fill out the info and in the contact section say that you are interested in
helping out after emergencies within the community.

The Board has purchased FRS Radios for use during emergency events. We will be using channel 8-15 for
the community. If you have radios or want to purchase some to be in contact with the Board and other
residents during emergency events. We are using Motorollas (from Costco) and I have confirmed that
Unidens work as well.

Each Condo has a ladders for the community to use. If the hurricane is a Category 1 or higher hurricane
shutters are mandatory. Once the hurricane has passed you have 72 hours to remove the shutters.
Ladders are available in every Condo by contacting the guard.

It is IMPORTANT that if you rent there is some designated to put shutters up. You are ultimately
responsible. Work out a plan with either your renters, a friend, or someone esle with confidence that can
LEGALLY enter the community and protect your property.
